Well, stuck in the flats again today. Not only that, but I was stuck in the house. According to UPS tracking, my board was expected to arrive today, so we decided not to leave the house so we wouldn't miss the delivery. The board didn't come until around 5pm! It was really annoying.
I'll have a chance to ride my board tomorrow, one day before my competition. Then, I'll decide if I'm comfortable enough on it, or if I will use my old board. We're skiing at Loveland tomorrow because Copper (where competitions are) will be too crowded. Plus, I won't be able to get onto the course or in the terrain park and at Loveland I can, so I'll be able to practice take-offs and landings on jumps.
The end.

Take offs and landings! Fasten your seatbelts!
We will miss you for our Tuesday morning staff meeting, and luck you! I think there's going to be an Advance Room Sign Up Quiz for the staff! If they don't score above a 65% then they have to... help Frank take out the trash! Hah!
Okay, that was an April Fool. The Frank part, not the quiz part! Let's see who is always reading Lorraine's blog and comes prepared!
Sorry your board didn't get there til late, but at least it came, right? Is it bendy? Is it pretty? You should glue spikes and razorwire on the sides of it, so that if some of the other racers get too close... watch out! You could be called Lorrazor.
Have fun practicing tomorrow! We're all here rooting for you!
Lots of love!
